Atwood Adhesives has developed a broad line of products for filter assembly. We have been selling filter manufacturers for over 30 years.

Waterborne Adhesives

Atwood Adhesives produces a wide range of waterborne adhesives for hand and machine applications. Typically one must formulate for each production line. Substrates to adhere are fiberglass, expanded metal, bottle cap scrap, fabric media, and coated chipboard.

Protein Cake Glues

Atwood Adhesives also sells several cake glues to adhere bottle cap scrap or coated metals to filter media for those applications which do not use a waterborne adhesive for this application.

Hot Melt Adhesives

Atwood Adhesives produces a number of hot melts for filter assembly, which meet UL approval. These include a clear hot melt, which is used to seal stitching holes in filter media. Assembly of metal, media, and chipboard is also done with several other hot melt adhesives.

We also offer special adhesives for creating a filter interleaving space, for high temperature or automotive filters, and for hospital environmental filters.
